Lilleshall Pantomime and Drama Group was founded way way back in 1988 by a group of local Amateur Dramatics enthusiasts.
The group has performed one pantomime a year ever since. The Group does have a written constitution and is run by an elected committee, who handle finances and organise each Show. A Production team committee is formed before the casting meeting to organise the script and work out the technicalities required to put on each Show.
The Production team consists of Producer (which can be shared roles) Director, Lighting, Sound, Musical Director and Stage Manager. All of these roles are filled by any members of the Group who are interested. Everyone is invited to a casting meeting in early September to see the new script and find out about the new Pantomime. The Group holds an A.G.M. a few weeks after each Show has ended, where reviews are heard, finance is discussed and plans for the future are made.
